What Commonly Used Pesticides Against Locuts?

Pakistan pesticide distributor Agrow Limited’s R&D manager Muhammad liaz said when participating in the “China-Pakistan Econimic and Trade Hotline Could Salon-Joint Locust Control” cross-border live broadcast event. Effective pesticides are Cyhalothrin, Malathion, Deltamethrin and Chlorpyrifos.

According to Mohammed ljas, Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC and 10% EC, Malathion 57% EC, Deltamethrin 2.5% EC and Chlorpyrifos 40% EC are mainly based on contact and gastric toxicity. It is worth mentioning that the Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC and 10% EC have the characteristics of quick knockdown and long residual period.

Pakistan suffered the worst locust disaster in 27 years. After 300 tons of locust control pesticides and 50 vehicle sprayers donated by China in three batches arrived in Pakistan in late April, Pakistan media issued 225 tons of pesticides again on April 29 purchasing information for 175 tons of Malathion and 50 tons of Lambda-cyhalothrin.
